Relaxing run this morning. Ran seven miles at a 7:17 pace. Not much planned for today, Church and relaxing. But on the good news is this week i am only working three day this week. But the bad news is I am taking my son to the airport on Thursday and i am not sure when the next time we will see him. He is leaving for Afghanistan in September. Anyway, Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Must be tough to see your son go away. I will pray that he has safe travels and that he is safe while in Afghanistan!

Thanks Jim, that means a lot to me! Also, for your race on Saturday try taking Sports beans every mile, i think that will help you to keep your pace during the race. I take two for every mile during a race and that really helps me to keep my energy and stay strong. Just a suggestion. Good luck at your race. You will be in my prayers!

You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers Barry.

Thanks, that means a lot to me and my family! So when is your next race?

This coming Sunday I am running the Eugene marathon! I am both nervous and excited (it will be my first marathon -- isn't Ogden going to be your first marathon?).

Ogden i will be running the 1/2 marathon, I am going for a 1:22. I am thinking that Pocatello Marathon will be my first. Have you tried taking Sports beans or gels while running? I use the Sports beans and they really help out a lot.

I use Powergel - but I have heard sports beans are good, I might have to try them in my next race.
