Had an interesting run this morning. I was trying to keep ten of my mile between 7:00 and 7:15, but the last three miles did not go so good. Around mile 7 to 8 i started feeling some pressure in my head and it kept getting worse until mile 10.50 then i started feeling a little relief from the pressure. There was no pain involved, but it sure affected my per mile run. I am not sure how to explain it, but it was really weird. Any suggestions? Thanks for reading and have a great day! :-)

Barry, Great workout sounds like you may have been dehydrated and the pressure is like a headache I get when I am dehydrated.... otherwise, maybe your just pushing your body on a day its not ready to be pushed.. but great running and working through it well done :)

Yes, I agree. Dehydration bud. Lack of sleep also?

Paranoid Hypochondriac here- Maybe your brain is going to explode??? Have you been abducted by aliens lately??

I'm just kidding :) I bet Ash and Sam are right :) Drink and sleep :) happy running ;)

Hey I remember reading an article a couple of months back in uk runners world, anyways, I get all kinds of migraines, they do vary dependent on the cause, a stress migraine can be very similar to dehydration it says in the magazine anyway and the shoulder muscles and neck muscles may need to be massaged to relax them to relieve the headache!

Just thought I would let you know that one... I suffer with terrible migraines sometimes... in the past I have had dizzy spells with peripheral blindness:( so dont go thinking something real bad wrong with you go get a sports massage to be sure :)

I suffer from migraines too :( I have lost vision on runs before and thought I might be having a stroke. Lot's of strange things go on in the migraine brain. It is always good, when ever new symptoms arise or if you have never had a migraine, to have it checked out.

Barry- if you experience that again and are very sure it is not dehydration, you should see a doc.

Wow i learned about head headaches i never new before. Thank You both very much, that really helps me a lot. I am trying to schedule a full body message. I am sorry to hear that you both suffer from migraines. I hear that they can put down for a day or two. Or it might be that the alien in side of you wants to come out :o. And i promise if it happens to me again i will go to the doctor.
