I was thinking about running 15 miles. Are you planning your long run on Friday? Also, are you running that race on Saturday?

Kory, I am going to run the Pocatello half marathon course. The race on Saturday is at the OK Ward park, i think that is the name of it. It is the park over by Kmart.
Kelli thanks, I think the Temperature was around 80-85 degrees. I wanted to run during lunch because after work i am just to tired. When in August is your half marathon? My next half is the Pocatello marathon, September 5.

August 22nd, thanks for asking! However, it will be cruddy due to foot problems and time off. Hopefully I do not bomb it too bad!!!
I love running at night in the fall, but not the summer!

What is going on with your foot?

Plantar Fasciitis---nothing major. I ignored it for well over a month and it just got really inflamed. I had to first cut my miles, then stop running altogether. I only lost a month of training, but gained 11 pounds feeling sorry for myself and sitting on the couch!!!! That is a lot of extra weight to carry around for a race. 1 pound=2 seconds, or so they say! So, now i am working on healing the foot and losing weight and upping my miles and trying to survive!!!

There is sports tape out that helps with running injuries and one of the injuries it helps with is Plantar Fasciitis. It is called IT Tape and here is the web site to learn about it.
http://www.lumosinc.com/PlantarFasciitis.asp Maybe you can get some and try it out and see if it helps you? I hope this helps. :)

You are a genius! I have been dealing with this for almost 2 months and when I was cleaning out my room last week I found 10 samples of this KT tape from races. So, I went to the website, watched the video, and I now wear that darn tape ever day (for the last 7 days). Wish I had talked to the genius earlier because it has been helping immensely!!! You could have fixed me along time ago, before I got chubby!
Today the tape did not stick, it fell off by mile 3. I was ticked because it totally helps. I think I must have put on too much lotion yesterday!
