My run was ok today, but I did start to get a little sick while running. I think it is the food that I eat before running. I ran seven miles at a 7:29 pace with 3.5 @ 0.5 and 3.0 @ 1.0 and 0.5 @ 1.5 incline. I think my body is adjusting to the increase in the incline. Not much planed for today work, Juvenile Detention center (Chaplain) and then maybe Lava Hot Springs. Then tomorrow I will be running eleven miles with Kory. I really am thinking about running the Pocatello Marathon. So in a couple weeks I will start my training on the course. I am thinking about doing what Kory told me he had to do to train for the course. Run twenty miles of the course one day a week for seven week in a row. I really am thinking about that really hard. Anyway, thanks for reading and have a Great day!

Barry, I wouldn't try doing the seven week 20 milers in a row. This is something you have to build-up to. I would wait till next year to attempt that. You haven't done too many 20 milers and this could really cause you to get injured. First you need to just get used to running one 20 miler every three weeks.

How about we run 12 miles tomorrow. That will really help your endurance on such a low mileage week?

Running twelve miles sounds good to me. What time do you want to start?

Barry, sounds like you are chomping at the bit to try a marathon. Keep that motivation going, but keep an iron fist on the reins just like Kory indicated. Consider going for a longer run, but only go until you start to feel uncomfortable. I'd say that will happen around 12 miles. Then build up from there each week as your body dictates and cut back some weeks. Just my 2 cents worth.
