AM: Got up at about 7 to do my run, and just did an easy 5. Holy crap, my calves are so so so sore!!! Worst run i have had in months.

| AM: Woke up at like 10 and headed out for a 5 miler to get the legs lose again. They felt so much better today, but my lungs were just way burt from the altitude. After i did a mile of bare foot on the grass. |

| AM: Ran out on the muddy trail. I was kinda looking up, but could still see the ground and saw what i thought was a stick that turned out to be a blow snake. Scared the crap out of me!! Really tired today, i played basketball for the first time yesterday and now im paying for it. |

So . . . my first leg was #11, 3.4 which is the climb up into snow basin ski resort. This thing was pretty hard, but not as hard as i thought. I felt good the whole time, thill the last mile that was down hill. It destroyed my calves and legs. :( but i ran it as hard as i could and was just as fast as the BYU guy. My next leg 7.6, i got out good pace right at 5:50, way under the predicted time, then my legs gave out, and i basically ran it kinda easy the rest of the way. I was pissed!!! My last leg i went down the hill at about 5 flat pace and was feeling good till about mile 3, my legs were killing and i slipped and fell around a corner and pulled my leg, i got up and ran on it a bit and felt it was pretty bad, but i could make it. At this point in time i had a choice, run really fast now and get a great time, but i wouldnt be able to run for probibly a week, or just chill and finish. I chose the second and walked most of the hill then jogged into the exchange. So i had a great time, not to well on the running part, but i did get closer with my team mates and that means a lot as the team captain.
