AM: Some people actually showed up to practice this morning!! Trev,me,kimz,jeff,BY,haily and Ashley. Good turn out. This morning was extra special too, my shins didnt act up for the first time on monday morning runs in a long time! Ahhhh its going to be a good week. :)

PM: 5 to Target and back. This run was a real reality check on how much the heat affects you... sucked till i got used to it. We were going a bit to fast.... i hope it doesent ruin our work out tomorrow.

Im really disapointed that we dont get to race in the kanab Fresh/Soph race tomorrow....Oh well......Oh the excitement for practice...today it was over whelming! I dont know what it is about repeats but im always excited for them, till i actually get doing them. But that feeling only lasts for about 1 repeat. Our plan is to hit number 1 4 8 and 10 at goal pace (4:30) and the rest at curent mile pace. (4:52) So about a 1:07 and 1:13.

1: 1:07 Right on Pace, felt just fine.

2: 1:13 strong, quick, powerful.

3: 1:12 Just normal. Wind was a little harder on this one.

4: 1:07 Busted out a good one.

5: 1:13 Consistant.

6: 1:13 Painful but right there.

7: 1:12 Starting to feel the effects of quick repeats.

8: 1:07 Almost done feeling.

9: 1:10 Wanted to get this one over with quck.

And finaly 10: 1:04 Left it all out. Felt tired, but my form and strenght were there to help me through it.

It was weird... I felt better on these with out rest inbetween.... hmm... but i was very pleased with these times. Each one felt painful, yet satisfying for my lust to get better. :) And i want to thank kimz for helping us through those. :)

AM: Nothing much to report...

PM: 4 AT today... Nothing to special... there is one thing that buggs me. Every time i run this run i get shin splints...But not on any of my other runs... Any suggestions on how i could prevent this???

AM: 8:00 run with the team...But it was just me and ruth who stayed with each other at the front. Solid run, but i am feeling the repeats and AT from the last two days. Nothing to exciting eh?   :)

AM: 5 Sun rise tire hills today. Me and Danny ran together to the hill. Thats when we caught willy on his first hill of the day. First few i stayed with willy and Danny, then i needed to be pushing myself harder so i got about three quarters of a hill ahead of them. Then i waited at the bottom for them and we jogged back......Actually i take that back..... we ran back. Around 6:30 pace.

2: 1:49          4: 1:50

5: 1:43

Good work out. My body is finaly recovered from those repeats and AT, so it felt good this time around.

Nice easy run with Danny Boy! :) We did the river run with a small warm up. Nothing to exciting. Felt just fine the entire way! I could tell that danny had to push a little to get with me. Solid 7:15 Pace.
