Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc. 

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - Ran in Holladay and Millcreek with Allie, Jake, Rob, and Abby. 7.3 miles at 8:20 pace. 

PM - Skinned 2650 ft with Jake and Amiee at Brighton. Sunny and warm - it was a beautiful day to be in the mountains! I've been pretty hesitant to go skiing because I've been worried how my injury issues would do, but I felt really good today.

Newtown Turkey Trot 19:20 (6:30, 5:50, 6:20) It was much colder than we expected this morning - 23 degrees. Ran a 2 mile warm-up then straight into the race. My feet and hands went numb by the first mile and I was too cold to run a fast 5k. I was hoping to run ~18:45 but I ran a solid effort and am honestly happy to be able to run faster in general. My "season of 5ks" this fall is done just in time for ski season.
