| | Workout Wednesday
I got it done early today thanks to a new arrangement Sariah and I have made with watching each others kids so the other can workout. 2 mile wu. The goal today was 6x800 @ 3:03 with 1:50 jogging rest. Splits: 2:59, 2:57, 2:59, 2:55, 2:55, 2:56. Pleasantly surprised by this workout. Especially since I did it outside in the cold. 2 mile cool down. Huge improvement from the last time I did 800s.

Hoping to get out later for some more miles.

| | Workout Wednesday 3x2mile fartlek 6:25 pace/7:25 pace 1:36/1:50. I switch from fast to easier every 400 m.
Set 1: 1:32/1:46, 1:32/1:48, 1:36/1:50, 1:36/1:48 2 min rest
Set 2: 1:34/1:48, 1:35/1:48, 1:33/1:50, 1:35/1:49
The last set I switched and went from slow to fast so I could finish on the fast interval
Set 3: 1:47/1:36, 1:50/1:35, 1:51/1:34, 1:49/1:34
It was hard to get through the last couple 400s, but I'm glad I hit the paces I wanted.

| | We were supposed run 15 miles today. It ended up being an accidental 19.3 mile long run. A miscalculation caused us to run an extra 4 miles today. The run gave me a big boost. It was probably my best run of the 2015. I did an 8 mile tempo in the middle of the run. Splits 6:40, 6:40, 6:43, 6:49 6:55, 7:28 (struggled in the Canyon wind), 7:00, 6:45. I'm happy with my first longer tempo. The overall run AP was 7:26. Only a couple weeks ago I was doing a 15 miler with Angie and Sariah and really struggled with 7:30 pace. Today I felt much stronger before and after the tempo.

| | I got up early and ran over to Uintah Town hall and met up with Sariah, Angie, Janae, and Alyssa. I only ran with Janae and Alyssa for a mile before they took off on a progression run. AP 8:12 Lower mileage this week due to lack of motivation and terrible weather.

| | I decided to get my long run done early this week because my motivation for running is low during Christmas and I knew I may not be interested in doing 15 miles on Saturday. Merrilee ran an hour of it with me which was nice, the whole run went by fast. AP 8:30
