| | I was babysitting in the morning and by the time I could get out the door to push my two little ones before my kindergartener got home, the time was limited so I only got 5 miles in when I wanted 6.

| | I ran a 4 mile tempo for my workout today. It went better then last weeks attempt at a tempo. 2.3 mile warm up, South Ogden tempo loop. I didn't have a set pace in mind, I was hoping for faster then last week. Last week I was only able to get through 3 miles but today I felt strong through 4. Splits 6:45, 6:53, 6:48, 6:41. 2 mile cool down.

| | Woke up early today for a workout. I met Sariah in her neighborhood and was planning 8x400s. Her neighborhood is pretty flat and isn't windy so it worked out well. I wore the head lamp for the warm up but I didn't want to wear it for the workout. So we were running blind on some parts of the course. She was a few seconds ahead of me for each 400 but I'm happy with how it turned out for me. More improvement since the last time I did 400s. .15 jog between each 400. Splits 89, 90, 87, 84, 84, 83, 84, 81. The first two we were figuring out where to go. |

| | I met up with Sariah to do a trappers loop workout. We met at Sinclair in Mountain Green. It was dark almost the whole run. We started out by running out 2 miles on a flat road then 2 miles back, then headed up Trappers loop 4 miles. The uphill miles on Trappers loop went by surprisingly fast. The plan was for me to do a 5 mile tempo down Trappers so I could practice for Snow Canyon. I did this workout 2 years ago except this time I did 4 miles of all down hill and finished my last mile on the flat road. Sariah helped push me along especially the 5th mile when I thought about quitting. Splits were 6:28, 6:23, 6:27, 6:36, 7:04. My downhill miles were about right but I was hoping to maintain 6:45 for the last flat mile. But I couldn't quite will myself to go faster even with Sariah pulling me along. Splits from 2 years ago 6:56, 6:30, 6:18, 6:16, 6:32 these were all downhill miles.

| | 5am wake up time this morning to do mile repeats. I was thinking of doing 4-5 but time was limited so I only got 4 in. I had some bathroom issues on my warm up which didn't help with the limited time I had but once the issues were taken care of I felt pretty good. There is a pretty flat loop in South Weber that's a mile around and it's perfect for mile repeats. I guessed my target time to be 6:25 for each repeat. After 2 mile warm up and some strides I jumped in. I was pretty consistent with these, which I was happy about, now I wonder if I could've done that 5th one and stayed on pace. Splits 6:25, 6:26, 6:26, 6:23. About 2:50 jogging rest. 1.3 mile cool down to get back home. I also broke in some new flats.

| | I met at the Unitah trailhead with Angi, Merilee, and Alyssa. Luckily, they were all going easy. I ran 90 minutes with them, and they all left so I finished my last 3 miles on my own. I'm glad I ran with them I would've run slower by myself. AP 8:03

| | I ran a 5 mile tempo on the Bonneville road tempo course. Its got some downhill and a couple up hills. The first mile has the steepest downhill. Splits 6:28, 6:41, 6:36, 6:33, 6:31. I'm not super happy with my fitness after 6 months of running. But that's the reality of my situation, it takes me a long time to come back from having a baby. |

| | 15 miles in South Ogden, the first 10 was with Sariah and Angie. They weren't going as long so they left and I finished my 15. The first 10 miles with them my AP was probably 7:50ish. But by the end of the run it was 8:03.
