15 minutes of analyzing my walking-ness at PT. Other than needing to extend my right hip back a tad, I am walking darned near normal. AND THEN... 10 minutes of RUNNING with walk breaks. Again, need to work on my right hip extension. When I try to extend more I lose my pelvic stability, but the extension should come with time though and dedicated hip flexor stretching. At this point I think it is more important to keep my pelvis stable than to have full hip extension.

We then came up with a nice hip maintenance and core exercise plan and I said g'bye to my PT and all the clinic staff. I held back my tears until I get into my car and then bawled my eyes out. It has been one long haul you could say. I have been going to that clinic almost weekly for two and a half years prehabbing and rehabbing three hip surgeries and assorted resulting ailments and I am honest to gosh going to miss all those peeps :(  I am so grateful for their support and awesomeness!

As of today (sitting, standing, AND running):

Zero pain in left hip.

Zero pain in right hip.

Nearly zero pain in low back/SI joint.

So is this last session more b/c of the new job or b/c you don't need it anymore?

Well I really don't need it anymore since I sort of know the drill by now, but today was visit 30 out of my allotted 30 and my insurance wouldn't approve any more visits. That fact definitely contributed to my decision to abandon job and said insurance.
