3pm- Murray Cross Invite- Seeded boys
after a sucky long ride up to murray we didnt really have any time to chill before we had to go race. we warmed up on the course to familiarize ourselves with it and such. The start was good, me carson and nathan were up in the top pack. I ran right with Carson for the first mile but then I fell back a bit. still kept within distance from him on the second mile but I kind of sucked on the last mile. It was pretty weak I got passed alot but Carson did good and moved up and got 5th. I got 26th and the guys were only like 20 seconds behind me but there was like 30 people inbetween us so our team score ended up sucking. We just need to run a bit better. But also it wasnt a bad race either.
right after our race it cool off like 10 degrees and then started raining. thats was dope but we went and chilled in the new ampitheater to not get wet. the rest of the races were good i didnt really watch them but i met like 12 dogs and chilled with the boys so it was ok

Bob Firman Invitational (3.107 Miles) 00:16:56, Place overall: 115 | | 1150am- Bob Firman Invitational- Elite Boys race
got up at like 730 and got some garbage hotel breakfast. we left around 815 over to eagle island and it took forever because of traffic. that sucked because i have been staying really hydrated so i dont like sitting in the car forever. it was foggy and 38 degrees around so coach had us sit in the car to stay warm. at 11 we went for a warmup. the weather started to clear up and be warmer. I took a gel and a tum and we went to the start.
Julien drew #46 so we were down at the end for the start. I started out really good though, out right behind the leaders. My first mile was good and fast. Carson caught me on the beach and I ran with him for a bit but I was already dying and lost him after the hill. a ton of guys passed me on the second lap. I tried to get moving but I was just slow. Julien passed me right along with everybody else. Mile 3 was trash I just tried to focus on keeping going. I hit the excel zone good but I was so slow up the hill the second time. Logan passed me with like 400 left. I finished hard but still just a bad race.
We all did pretty dang bad. we can bounce back. the important races are region and state though so I think its fine. the drive home sucked it hurt sitting for so long. my hamstring is really sore i'll have to take care of that

| | 615am- weights and short easy run. Left hamstring was sore and tight so I didnt do squats or lunges. It tightened up and hurt near the end of the run and i had to walk it in.
3pm- ran with coach carson colton and tanner and spencer. I was worried about my hamstring but it felt way better than the morning and warmed up into the run pretty good. Still was plenty tight by the end so I skipped the 200s and iced
