Warmed up with the team and played some sepa. The girls team did amazing and Im moderatly excited to see wat they do this year. And us (the boys team) We started out way bad and because it was allcomer meet we got stuck behind slow guys. It took us quite a while to pack up and by the time we did we all were tired and so the pack did not last. When we hit the track the 2nd time we started to spread out. Dallen and Nick got moving. Last lap I had trouble pushing hard but me preston and paul worked together a bit. Me and Macen cooled down together and did a strider race which I destroyed in. Good times. SLOW race. Lots to work on

we warmed up and cheered the girls and then lightning started so we took cover in Jakes car untill the meet was canceld. I got no more running in but we hanged at jakes and got gosnow so that was fun

| | 12pm- I slept in so by the time I went for my run it was 99 degrees outside and humid.Workout was 55 minutes w/ 5x4min intervals. I brought a water bottle and did my intervals at the stake center parking lot. I did my them at around 550 pace and they felt good despite the heat. It was fun and tough run

3pm- hottest long run of the year and I probably did not drink enough during the day.Ran with the group for a while then turned to do a shorteerr loop with the lvl 2s. I was running with Carson and Logan and Dylan but they were stopping too frequently and I was not wanting that so I went ahead. I took a quick break underneath the bridge by sullivan park and went up the trail. It was humid there with the puddles and trees but I was not sweating which was bad I think. The rest of the run was survival. I could barely keep my legs moving. Also I saw a wild dingo sneaking around but when I charged it turned out to be deer. 1 doe and 2 tiny fawns. The one baby deer looked just like a freaking dingo I could have sworn I saw a dog. Maybe it was chupacabra.

SUU Invite (3 Miles) 00:16:46, Place overall: 13 | | 10am- SUU Invitational- Varsity
Got a good warmup with the guys and felt real good for the race.Watched our JV boys and girls win and also the Varsity girls. It was not a fast race for me. I dont know my time yet but I know what racing fast feels like and that was not it. We started good and packed up early. I led the group for a while though and nobody switched me untill I fell off. It was not a good attempt by me to stay on the pack and thats where I am dissapointed in my race. When Mitch passed me I started working again but he dropped me fast. Just not a good race for me. I didnt mentally prepare for it and when it came time to start pushing hard it wasnt even an attempt.
did some good striders and ate sour patch kids the whole way home.

Nobody ended up going 75 with me but at the running center (stopping for a drink) I hooked up with Julien and Miles and Mike and we finished a loop around DI. Then me and my freshy bros did striders together

4pm- Time Trial #2
Sick time trial for the boys today. We started good and fast with a strong pack. I was up in the front for around a half mile. After I tripped I stuck right on the back of the pack for the next while and we still had a solid 7-8 guys right there. I started getting tired so I threw in a surge to try and move up. I took the corner at the bottom way too wide and it made a gap. They started moving and as soon as I fell off I just wasnt cruising anymore. last half mile was slower than I would have liked it, my bad. It was a great race, tons of guys PRed and we had strong races all around. The 800s after were cheese I led the second one no problm
I got 8th in the time trial. which aint where I want to be. I did some yoga and I going to really try and focus on being as fast and healthy as possible so I can get rolling and helping our team beast and feast. We are going to make things happen this year
