I've recieved the Performance of the Year award all 4 years for XC and my senior year was named Athelete of the Year. I earned 6 Varsity letters (4 XC, 2 track)

Working full time in Downtown Salt Lake.  On days where my body feels good and I don't have a 17 hour shift I like to hit up the trails in SLC and PC.

Angry run. Basically sprinted 2 miles around the fancy neighborhood by 7 Peaks. Swam 25 mintues later.

Ran to the BYU track to see my East kiddos! I missed all the 3200 races though... ugh. I went on their cooldown with them though and talked to Emmaline :) swimming later.

Speed workout this morning, we were expecting 20x400s but we only had to do 10 :) I ran a warmup with Brooke and Celeste, and for the 400s I ran 79, 79, 79, 80 80, 81, 81, 82, 83, and 84. Went on a longer cooldown with Brooke, Celeste, and Ivie to get to 9 miles.. Later I had my swim test at 7 Peaks, I did great on the treading and the 300M swimming, and I was about 5 meters away from being done on the brick portion but then I failed. After I went to watch the high schoolers run at BYU and I got another mile because the bus route was on detour for the half marathon, and I had to run to Logan's work to take him food.

This morning we ran a 10 min warmup and did 6x400 and 4x300 with equal recovery. I ran my 400s between 83-87. My first 300 was a 63, the next a 58. On the third one, Ivie pointed to the ground next to her and told me to stay on her heels, which really helped me run that 55. She did the same on the last one and I ran a 53 :) I ran a 3 mile cooldown with Ivie, Jess, and Celeste on the shorter Center Street loop.

Later I went to Lifeguarding class for 5 hours which really drained my energy but I love it :) I'm excited to start working! I can swim the full length with the brick and I have all week to train on getting the time I need, which I almost have! :)

This morning was really cold and rainy but we made it! We ran a 10 minute warmup, 1 mile of speed changes, and a down ladder. The speed changes were fast. The ladder was fast 400, jog 100, fast 300, jog 200, fast 200, jog 300, and a fast 100. I ran a 10 minute cooldown with Brooke, Celeste, and Kenzie along 12th west then stretched with everyone in the weight room after. I'm really sore from swimming.

Ran 10 minute warmup with the team but then Vieves and I just went for another 4 miles just running since we're not running at conference. Now I don't get to run for a week to give my body time to heal. We're hosting conference this week! Wednesday through Saturday!! Come support your Wolverines!

I'm starting a summer running group with my ward so I have people to run with. Only Ryan came this morning, but more people want to come tomorrow:) We just ran do Kiwanis and ran a few laps on the grass.
