Good day today. drove to the race and warmed up 1.19 miles with my bro. Did some strides then the race got started. Went out in first but it was at like 6:00 pace cuz I didn't want to lead. Pack of 5 separated quickly, preston johnson of weber state, camren todd, garrett barton, logan petty and me. Then garrett preston and I seperated from them and then they put a surge on that I couldnt match. After they did that garrett started dropping and I picked it up hard. I got within 10 meters on the last straight away so but was too tired from chasing him the half mile so he put some major time on me at the end. Good race overall. Know that I need to improve my abs and also get my back fixed. Splits were 5:00 5:15 5:16 then 63 for the last part. Super fun race. Cooled down with garrett a davis guy and max jones after. Super fun day.

Shout out to everyone who killed it at the freedom run!!!

So dead today. Cut it a bit short because I want to get a good run in tomorrow and it would have just been crap miles. Also AP scores are in. I got a 5 in calc 4 in psych and 3 in us and lang. So pretty happy except I thought I would have got a 5 in psych. Also shout out to dalpal cuz I like how he planks and blogs at the same time so I'm going to start doing that.

Was pretty nervous for today because yesterday I could not run well.  My outside shin was hurting me as well has ITband.  When I woke up I could feel them a little bit without walking but I got up and went to practice thinking of cutting it short.  Went a mile and my ITband wasn't cooperating but it warmed up as the run went on and my shin was doing way better then I thought so that was good.  Also we had a faster day today, first mile warm-up pace, 7:20, then we picked it up just so it was faster.  6:44, 6:39, 6:34, 6:37, 6:37, 6:35, 6:12, then 70 seconds for the last .2.  Run went really well, didn't even feel tired while doing it and my body didn't hurt for the majority of the run.  Avg. pace since when we picked it up was 6:32 and overall average was 6:39.

Also Utah State is coming to my house today to meet with me and talk about their running program so that is exciting!

Crazy hard run because it was at 4:40 in the morning because of priests camp.  I'm gonna try to run more then but Idk if I'll have time at camp.  

Didn't run more but did  an aqua jogging race against the current in the river for getting first in line for food at dinner so I won that which was a quite the workout.

Didn't have much time to run because I woke up late so didn't run then and the whole day was planned out so I ran at 10:50 at night and the leaders said I needed to be back at camp at 11:00... so I went out and got a 10 minute run it but it was really cool because there were so many stars and we had just had testimony meeting so I got to think about all that stuff!

Felt quite out of shape til I looked at my watch after the first half mile and saw I was going 6:28 pace up a hill so then I decided to just keep going fast but stay on the roads instead of doing a hilly run.  Did part of Discovery and then looped down to AF and then through Art Dye and up to Lone Peak and then back to my house.  It was quite the run.  Saw tons of road kill such as a raccoon, 2 squirrells, and a bird.  Also on my run Casey Clinger drove by with some friends and then they sat at the stop sign waiting for me to run by and then he said what's up to me while I was running so I guess Casey is my #1 fan lol.  Also ran through AF's festival thing on accident at Art Dye.  And I saw I was going pretty fast average so I thought it would be cool to have a sub 6 average so last two miles I pushed.  avg. pace was 5:56.
