I decided i needed some good tempo running.   I did 4 one mile repeats on the tread mill at 6:00 pace with a easy 400 in between  each mile.     I heard that I am supppose to come away with this kind of work out feeling I could do one more.  I felt pretty good!

If i am going to break 3:00 hour marathon this year i need to make a good training plan.     150 LBS.    5 more pounds and i will be happy!

Hey the meet this weekend is at Pine View on Friday and Saturday. I don't know the times or order of events yet. Come and watch us, it would be cool to see you.

Keep up the good work.

And keep yourself healthy. So listen to the body.

Great Job Bill. I think I would have really struggled running that fast on the treadmill. I have to be on the road or a track with I do any kind of speed or tempo stuff.

Thanks Bill for all the encouraging advice! I sure do need it! I think that you are doing pretty good yourself!

From Krista on Wed, Mar 26, 2008 at 21:43:12

Thanks for all the running advise! I'll just be glad once I finally get there and finish! For some reason the sprints were easier than the steady long run for me, but I find I need to set short goals and then I do much better. :)

Plus work is crazy so maybe I just had the extra energy to burn.
