Did 11.31 miles at an overall 6:53 pace in 1:17:50 this morning in 12 degree weather. I did the last three faster 6:38, 6:32, 6:35. Didn't feel cold at all, but there was very little wind so that really helps with the low temps. Everything clicked on the run. I didn't feel tired or legs didn't feel heavy either, especially after all the junk food I ate yesterday.

Evening

Ran .2 tonight for the heck of it... acceleration time.

I ran 11.53 miles at an overall 6:54 pace in 1:19:27.  I hit some pretty good splits coming down Bench Rd. and turning on Hiline Rd.  (6:40, 6:06, 6:31, 6:57, 6:39, 6:46, 6:30).  Temperature was 14 degrees and one of my toes was numb after the run because I had a hole in the sock that I didn't recognize.  My toe was frozen by the end of the run and almost took an hour to get back at the right temperature.

Evening:

Ran another acceleration this evening in the cold weather.

19 degrees this morning but sunny.  It really didn't feel cold, and we had no wind.   I ran 14.21 miles at an overall 7;10 pace in 1:41:49 just nice and easy.  I was tired from working late last night on a system that needed rebooted at our 11pm maintenance window.   Not much else happening just staying busy at work configuring two new $50,000 Solaris systems.

Finally got a break to post something today (Busy, Busy I've taken a lunch hour for the past week).

This morning it was 20 degrees with a 5mph wind, but it didn't feel too cold.  I ran a hilly route (mostly uphill).  Went up Chubbuck Rd.  and over to Olympus Rd.  Did 12.34 miles at an overall 7:06 pace in1:27:39.  Really wasn't trying for any speed today but I did run the last 4 miles pretty decent just to get home earlier.  (6:46, 6:39, 6:42, 6:53).

Evening:

Decided to run to the bank and back which is almost a mile.  .8

This morning it was 18 degrees with wind that made the run interesting heading up towards Satterfield Rd. I took it easy the first few miles. I saw Bill on Satterfield Rd. running the opposite direction as I was headed back to my house. He had good form, and look like he was running with ease.

Did sort of a 3 mile tempo towards the end of the run for fun (5:49, 5:49,5:56) and a cool down mile of 6:24. Overall 12.11 miles at an overall 6:48 pace in 1:22:23. Very windy at times that it popped my headphones off even with my hooded mask on.

Ran with Barry this morning down Pocatello Creek Rd and it wasn't fun because of the 20 to 30 mph winds in our face for about 9 miles.  We pushed hard at times to get a faster run..  I ran 13.1 miles at an overall 6:44 pace in 1:28:10.  I really did get cold even though it was windy and wet.  Barry did a great job running.  By mile 6 my legs felt a little sore and it could have been because of trying to fight the wind.
