Pocatello Half Marathon 2011 1:34:59  -A year recovery with the new titanium rod first race back.

May 5, 2012  Law Day 10K  38:39  4th Place

May 19, 2012 Tommy Vaughn Half Marathon 1:26:34  3rd Place 

Marathon Debut form my accident some date (unknown) 

September  1, 2012  Pocatello Marathon  2:54:57 6th overall

November 3, 2012 Just Cuz Half Marathon 1:19:04 second place overall.  (what a difference a year makes)


Long-Term Running Goals:

Whatever the Lord has planned for me that's what I'll do.  It might be to keep running and get faster at Marathon's. Worship the Lord doing it.

My Long Term goal is to just run whatever I can.  Recovering from a broken femur is my main Long Term goal.

Hebrews 4:16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.


Married, 3 kids (two daughters 8, 11 and one energiic boy 3 years old.. I work at Idaho State University as a IT System Admin Analyst..

Easy 4.2 miles outside running from the gym around the area on the different sidewalk trails.  One nice thing about Arizona (Glendale) there's tons of trails/sidewalk paths to run on.  After that I lifted weights at the gym for 30 minutes.  After the gym I had  to hustle home because of a meeting with IBM for work.  Its nice to be able to work from home two days out of the week.

Hi All,

Been while since I've posted being I don't run much anymore.  My running schedule is basically second priority as fitness.  Running has really made my muscle tone weak so my priority has been on weight lifting to build back the muscle I lost running so much.  I used to do 80 mile a weeks on an average and had a crazy running schedule .  Ran today 4 miles at an easy 8 minute pace.  I do more weight lifting now trying to put on muscle weight so the pace has definitely slowed down to a old man's pace.  Arizona is a nice place to run this time of year where it's not too hot.  But the heat has never bothered me here when I run.... for now almost being here 5 years.  I will try and post every once in a while.  Its good to see the same bloggers on here.  God Bless you all.
