Leg 1 very successful! I felt really good after running a marathon last Saturday. I think I passed 35 to 40 teams my first run. I had fun! People were driving along side me to see how fast I was going. I was messing around trying to run faster. I told them to see if I could go 30 mph Haha.

Leg 2. 8.5 miles in 47:48. 5.39 minute mile pace on an extremely steep section going up 300' the first mile then drops 2800' the last 7.5 my calves are screaming!

Before I started my last leg of 4.8 miles I was informed by one of our runners that she couldn't do her last leg which was the one after mine so I volunteered to run her 3.4 mile leg in conjunction to mine. I started out wit serious cramps in my side around 5 am with 48 degree temps. I was exhausted to wake up from a sleeping bag with 4 hours sleep and then jump up and try to get your legs moving was impossible! I'm glad its over.
