am--6 DI/Zion's/Harts. A good run on a beautiful morning. The kids seem in good spirits, and I felt surprisingly peppy after a shorter night of rest. On another note, the heart rate is coming back down. RHR--50.

pm--3ish. Ran around the Region course to help set up, warmed-up w/ the JV girls, and ran some while fanning. It was a good day. Many of our kids ran very well. Boys took 2nd, and girls took 1st. We have a great team this year. Lots of awesome, hard-working kids. Fun stuff.

am--9.5 Green Springs/2x Harts/some track laps. The morning was beautiful, and the kids ran well. I wasn't planning on running this much after the meat-filled day that was yesterday, but it was awright. RHR--64. (That's a bit of a red flag.)
