am--10 Suicidal Tendencies. Lots of people at the trailhead w/ their sprinter vans and other high-dollar vehicles just to schlep their bikes a mile up the road. The clientele of this trail has changed over the last decade. Can't blame anyone for wanting to be on these trails, though. I took it easy and enjoyed my first double-digit run in a while. I also spotted Andrew and Jared, 2 good dudes.

I struggle with my occasional anger at mountain bikers.

I used to see them in singles or pairs. Now, they come in dozens. Relative to road bikers, they’re pretty friendly folks. I struggle with being squeezed out of space that’s felt like mine for years.
