Happy New Year to all and to all a great and healthy running season!

3 miles on the PRT.

I registered for the Utah Valley Marathon to be held on 5 June '21. I'm in pre-training schedule now and my actual training schedule for the UVM starts 31 Jan '21 for  18 weeks. Hope the Wuhan China Virus is vacinated out of existance by then! It surly screwed up my 2020 running schedule...

The UVM is a really fast race but when it's 100* on the 4 lane black-top it isn't that much fun. I did this race to get a "BQ" but it didn't happen but not for lack of trying. Too much of my time was spent trying to train, find races to enter and avoiding  the US/Chineese governments lab engineered Wuhan Flu crisis. It was a very organized race but it was just too hot on the black top to put forth a full and sustained "BQ" effort! So now it's time to look into the future and size up another marathon to attend that will get me another  "BQ" and a trip back to the Boston!

i was actually driving down university the day of the marathon when i saw a guy wearing a “tom slick” shirt running down the road. hope you ran into him afterwards!

in all seriousness, good job. i would have honked for support, but i’ve been honked at enough during runs that i know it can be annoying more than invigorating at times.
