I see that they have postponed the 124th running of the Boston Marathon until September 14, 2020. Really, now the Boston Marathon is bowing to the Mayor of Boston and shutting down the marathon. I guess the Mayor has no idea that the participants of the Boston Marathon have other races on their schedules and this decision will have long lasting repercusions on the individual runners and the Boston Marathon. I remember a few years back, November 12, 2012, when Mayor Dumbburg shut the New York Marathon down. So many runners, including myself, were so mad that they have never returned to NYC Marathon. This situation kind of makes me happy that I didn't qualify for the 2020 Boston Marathon because it would be in direct conflict with me running the Huntsville "Full Monte" Marathon on September 19, 2020. I've run the Boston Marathon 14 times thru all types of weather (Hot & Cold, Wet or Dry, and everything in between and hope I can run it again.

| | Sorry I've been AWOL for so long, I had some problems that I seem to be overcoming and I'm excited to get back into some real running again. Oh well, I will try to get my blog going again! I'm training now to do the Huntsville "Full Monty" Marathon in September of 2020. Hopefully I will get in some other mixed races before September but with all the CCP Wouhan virus hiper hysteria has several races to be closed. Good luck all and we will see you in the funny papers!
