Long-Term Running Goals:

Continue running as often as I can, as far as I can, as fast as I can. Teaching my kids (by example) the rewards that come from putting in the work. Very slowly get to 50 states.

Personal:

I'm married, with two sons, 15, and 17.

I started running because someone dared me to.

I ran my first race 3 days after my 40th birthday. (Disney)

1 on the trails. andthen I thought "what am I doing? Didn't I just say I was done with slow trails?" So, as I was exiting the trails, I ran into the shirtless tire dragger. I talked to him for about 20 minutes. It's been a while. Then I ran 5.5 miles, hood route. Very much faster pace than what I usually run the trails.

7.5 miles. hood route to legacy trail and back. yeah, it was miseraable, but I've run in worse. Those brief moments in the shade were not completely awful.
