It was a slushy, icy, snowy, muddy mess.  Definitely not a fun run...good company though!

Run #1:  13.5 miles on the MCT.  TT:  2:19:14. AP: 10:19.  Oh so early.  Saw a dog with alien eyes.  Tried out Tailwind.

Got kids off to school

Yesterday it took me all day to put away my vest, wash out my bladder and clean up all my stuff from my trail run.  Then I got all my stuff out for today’s run.  It is an all day effort.  Cleaning up one run to get ready for another....makes me happy!

Antelope Island with Kelli!  Bless her soul for coming with me!  I felt SO much better on this run than the last time.  And I my time showed...30 minutes faster.  It was very warm today and I was very sweaty/salty.  I tried some new nutrition today--cheese quesadilla and snickers (no gels).  And lots of salt pills.  I also taped my toes to work on my blister prevention.

We had two encounters with buffalo today.  They were very close and intimidating!
