I went WAY TO FAST tonight.  I never thought I would say that, but I hope I don't pay for it later on.  I averaged between 8:30-8:45 mm during the run (which still isn't that fast), but compared to the 10 mm I've been doing on the TM......

I ankle is still sore from the abuse of the PT.  More scraping....ouch.

After my run tonight, my oldest daughter (6 years old) want to "go for a run".  So we ran slow up to the mail box and progressively got faster.  I told her to "book it" during the last 100 m.  She did a great job.  If I ever have a kid that wants to run, I'm going to have to hold my emotions in check!

I canned way too many things today. Peaches and a few pears (the rest need to ripen a big more).  Spaghetti sauce...yummy. And apple pie filling and apple butter on Monday (we will have apple fritters for desert).  Plus I have 2 big buckets of green beans to take care of.  The shelves are filling up!

Is there anything you can't do?

I LOVE home canned pears! They are the best. But I am too lazy to do it myself, i steal my moms!

Nice job on the run. Take care of that ankle., I know the PT can make sore body parts really sore, so i would not worry too much right now. AND great job on the speed!!!

That is soooo cool, your little girl running with you! NICE improvement on the running time. That is a FAST pace for me. You will be back to your former speedy self in no time!

Oh LOVE the fall harvest and all that home canning! I used to can all day long with 3 neighbors. We'd go to each other's house and help with whatever. It was fun visiting and the work so much faster. Isn't it wonderful to see the shelves filling up?

You're a talented home-maker. Your cute little family is soooo lucky!

Burt-I'm feeling a bit.....sad/mad/bummed out that everyone is tapering for SGM and I can only run 8 minutes at a time. Unfortunately, you got the rath :)

Kelli-you would be proud, I got the peaches/pears/apples at Sunflower Market for $.55/$.55/$.77 lb - awesome deal!

Smooth - I wish I had someone to help. I feel like the Red Hen - my kids just want to eat - eat - eat, but no helping hands! But they are only 6...next year!
