felt ok today for the 5mile race - not much happened during it.  Mcmillan pace calculator from the 5k last month put me in at 6:15 pace for 5 miles, but that 5k was a hilly course where this one is a little flatter.  However, the last three weeks has been garbage as far as training goes, so I didn't expect much.

Just tried to find a pace and stick with it.  The 2nd mile I think I backed off a little on purpose (for no good reason) but then picked it back up after that.

6:07, 6:19, 6:06 6:06, 6:04 --  total 30:42 - 6:08 ave pace

missed winning masters by 20 sec -- dangit - never won masters for an ATC event

just looked - that is one second off my time from last year -- funny- at least I'm not slower (oK one sec slower)

paced my sis-in-law on the last half of her ten miler - new PR for her! - She has a half in two weeks so this is her longest run so far for this cycle.  Doing very good - and not injured!

thanks Smooth and Dale. Once again I find myself not as fast as I want, but not as slow as I think I am. Now on to the next.
