If I can't run, so be it!!! I still want to push my limits (without pain).
1 hour spin class.
40 minutes on elliptical trainer.
.50 miles in the pool in 30 minutes.
My workout was pain free! Pain is only there when I force pressure on my leg.

That's a good attitude. I like how you don't let running dictates everything; but you take control of the situation. Hope you're able to see a dr. or therapist. Glad to hear that you can do spin, elliptical and pool without pain. Keep it up!!! You will heal.

Impressed you holding your HR for 165 for 1 hour spin class, that is tough spinning. Runners gotta run, you will be back strong.

So glad you were able to get in a killer workout! Just think that you're training for a tri. You've done the running work, so you'll be ready for Ironman soon :)
Hope your leg gets better soon!!!

Thank you for the endless support everyone!!! This blog has been getting me throught a tough time, THANK YOU THANK YOU!
Smooth,
I need to heal quick, but correctly. All of the Xtraining is making me CRAZY! When I get back to Lehi I HAVE to take you to a spin class at the Legacy Center. Don't be scared to go, there are all different levels that attend those classes. And the best part of their spinning classes is that they are in the DARK, so no one sees you make silly facial expressions that show your agony. I think you would enjoy it.
Brent,
Thank you for the support. Mainting my heart rate is my goal when I X-train. When I run it's one of those things that I don't really have to worry about.
RAD,
I am going to look at bikes this weekend. I am considering doing the Vernal Tri which is in about a month and a half. I want all this X-training to pay off in some way. I think a tri would be awesome!
Walter,
Thanks for the support. I just hope the X-training will keep my fitness level to where it's suppse to be. Sometimes I wonder if I will forget how to run.
