Hmmm.  Don't you love that January is the month to make new years resolutions?  I just have certain goals that I would like to accomplish throughout the upcoming year, but not necessarily resolutions.

Both of the gyms I go to (yes two), seem to be very crowded at this time of year.  Today I decided I wanted to attend a spin class.  I was there 10 minutes early and all of the bikes were filled.  Love the month of January at the gym :).

I decided on a few other options. Turned out my workout turned into a  three hour session.  Started with 45 minutes on a boring elliptical.  Then I took it to a stationary bike with a huge seat for 45 mintues.  Last but not least, I spent about an hour and fiftenn mintues in the weight room working on lifts and core work.  I left feeling really strong.

I don't feel anywhere close to what a 15 mile run feels like.  My foot is feeling better though. I hope to be back to the pounding by Monday, we'll see.   Gotta get those miles in.

Welcome to the blog!! Great job today. That is diligence, I would have given up after the elliptical and you just hung in there. Way to go! Keep up the good work and I hope that your foot continues to feel better, whatever the circumstance is there. Have a great day!

Welcome to the blog Bec.

How do you know Smooth? (I think she is one of the greatest people EVER EVER EVER!!)

You had a killer workout today, I got tired just reading about it. Crazy girl! :)

Tell us more about yourself.

Teena,

I know that we are already friends. You finished St.George one second before me! We were running next to each other at the end.

I live by Smooth and yes, she is the best EVER EVER EVER! She is incredible, as well as her family.

I am a school teacher. I teach k-5 as the dance/movement specialist. I love teaching and I love to dance (almost as much as I love running).

What about you? Tell me about yourself...

Bec & Teena,

Can I adopt you two. So nice to have a fan club. Don't believe everything you read on this blog. BUT THANKS for saying such kind words.

Yes, you two crossed path at Spanish Fork and SGM. I so wanted to introduce you to each other. You two are my most favorite people.

Becca,

I can't believe you worked out for 3 hours!!! YOU ARE STRONG!!! All that cardio and core training will pay off once you hit the road running.

How is the foot? Are you using any training program? If so, which one?

Check the announcement board here for some local races in Feb and March if you're interested in some tune-up races.

Have a great Sunday, love you!!!

Smooth,

I just told my mother that you want to adopt me. I would be okay with that, but she says, "NO".

The foot is feeling better, I should be out on the road tomorrow. I felt like there was a slight strain on my foot so I have been taking it easy. Feels better for now.

You on the hand...dang girl. You are a running machine! You are getting those miles in one after another. Again, you are a running inspiration.

Teena,

Smooth is awesome and we all know it! I am excited to meet you. You seem like a really fun/cute girl. Keep up the running.

Are you going to Boston too? If you are, I would love to meet you before or at Boston.
