Happy Valentine's Day!

Day started off not too well.  I came to Lehi without my running shoes!  So I decided that I would buy myself a Valentine's gift of new shoes.  I went to good old "Fleet Feet" to pick up some new shoes.  They had my shoe and size so I made the purchase and wore them out of the store.

Next I stopped at the nearby Rec Center and logged 5 miles 7 minutes or under on the track.  Day 3/week 1 of the push up challenge followed.  I decided I would run 8 miles outside becuase the snow was letting up.

Drove home and ran outside about 6.5 miles.  My right knee started killing so I contemplated walking the rest of the way home.  Just as I started to walk my parents drove by out of nowhere.  I flagged them down and got a ride home.

Hopped in an ice bath that seemed warmer than usual.

I hope that my knee will feel better by Monday.  I think that it might be an IT band issue.

WOW, you ran 5 miles at sub-7??!!! You're FAST!!! May be the knee issue is from running in "circles" in the track? I don't know, just a thought.

Thankgoodness your parents "rescued" you. I hope your knee feels better with a day of rest. You're logging alot of FAST miles.

I agree with Smooth, Running on the tracj in one direction in circles could of been the problem with the knee. Keep up the awesme running and all that Dance stuff!
