The long run...

The weather wasn't as cold as I thought it would be.  Clear, beautiful blue skies about 30 degrees.  I felt rather ill at mile 5.  Thank goodness for country roads.  When nature calls, at least no one will see you.  The same thing happened at mile 10.  I felt so slow.  I kept reminding myself that I was just putting some miles in the bank, and it didn't matter if I went slow or not.

I felt so stiff.  Sat in an ice bath for about 10 minutes.  I planned to sit in the ice bath for fifteen, but my legs were starting to turn purple.

Thank goodness for Sunday's.  All I have to do is sit around all day.

GOOD JOB for getting a 15 miler in. The bloggers call those "nature call/pit stops" VPB's, virtual private bathrooms.

Ice baths are so good. I didn't do them last winter but am doing them now. I think it really helps.
