23 some odd miles at the Park City Marathon.  I used this course as my long run.  Very relaxing, low-key, beautiful, and ENJOYABLE time!  I loved every minute of this training run.  Going up an incline the first 18 or so miles felt really comfortable.  I went REALLY slow.

By the end of the race I pulled 5, 7:30 pace miles :)

This was by far the most fun I have ever had on a long run.  I stayed with Smooth, and RAD for a few miles, and those ladies were looking strong.  Beautiful day, just simply a day I remember WHY I LOVE TO RUN!!!

Thanks Smooth for letting us stay at your condo ;).  I know that Pres. is not on the blog, but he deserves a shout out for being the best "fan."

RAD, you did an awesome job on your second marathon!

Bec, it was nice meeting you this morning and again after the race. Sorry I wasn't more talkative. It's been a long day. Glad you had fun on your long run.

Becca, you are an amazing woman! I'll trade you Craig for your IT bands?!? Fair trade? :) Maybe then we can both reach our goals this next year! I had such a great time this weekend with you, and I can't wait to do it again at TOU. You have no idea what it meant to me to have you and Smooth as my support staff when it all went to crap for me! I know you especially sacrificed a lot as far as time is concerned. Keep up the amazing work...I know you'll hit that PR at TOU!!

Going UP the incline for 18 miles was enjoyable???? You are nuts! And WOW on those 5 speedy miles at the end! You are AMAZING!!!

I think I will quit running now and just be a fan of running.

RAD,

NO, you are not going to trade Craig, you need him! You are so dang silly. But what are we going to do with those dang IT's that keep holding you back? There has got to be a way we can tape them up to secure them somehow.

Kelli,

You can be a fan, but you have got to remember this... You are motivation for a BUNCH of women (and men), when it comes to running. You are a very fast and crazy runner! You will heal, and then you will be back to logging miles and winning races in no time.

Great job on a long run/race, Bec. (I actually had about 6 people like my shoes - go figure). Good seeing you out on the course yesterday.

Okay...I'll keep Craig. When I told him what I'd said he commented "now, now...there's enough Craig to go around." :) lol! Anyway, I'm bound and determined to take TOU for a good race! Come H%#$ or high water!!

oh, and butting in here...Kelli, I would die if you just became a fan. You are one of my favorite running companions, you'll come back and be leaving me in the dust again in no time :)

RAD,

You make me laugh! We are going to drug you up for TOU like we discussed. Promise, you won't feel another thing from those ITs. Plus we need to get you in at a BQ time. I agree with about Kelli!

Becca cutie! It sure was fun hanging out with you over the weekend! You have speedy legs and amazing attitude! You're gonna rock at TOU!!!
