Nice run w/ Buff & Heather.  Felt good energy today.  Garmin was dead (forgot to charge it) so have no idea what our pace was but Buff said we were going a good pace.  Ran out of time to get more mileage in, but felt I was good for a couple more miles.  At least I feel my fitness level is starting to make a comeback.

I must be off my rocker! I woke up at 4:30 am to workout today! First weight class then hill repeats.  I felt really good throughout.  Must hit the sack now, its 10pm and I'm in a zombie-like trance.  Good night! (I think a wee bit of SGM excitement is starting to creep into my system)

BTW- watched Spiderwick Chronicles with my kids tonight.  Good flick! We all liked it. (scary for 8 & under though, IMHO)

Good miles w/ Buff & Heather.  Forgot to charge my garmin so not sure on pace.  Asked gals while we were running and it was 9:11, I'd say that was pretty average for the run.  My chins & knee are sore.  Past time for new shoes, gotta find time to make it to the running store soon.

My son had an early soccer game in Vegas (his team won- yah!) and I couldn't figure out how to get my long run in without having to get up at 3am.  I just wasn't feeling that crazy today.  So I plan on getting out tonight and getting some miles in! Yell at me if I don't! Every Sat. counts from now until SGM! (I'm in such worse shape this year compared to this time last year, oh well..)

I got in 7 miles which isn't exactly the 14 or so that I needed for my training plan.  But every mile counts and somehow I have to balance running, family, work, church responsibilities, etc... So I'll take my 7 and just try for more miles next week!

It was a solo evening run w/ the ipod.  Got to see the sun set and run by a cool overlook of St. George.  I stopped about every mile to drench myself with water, but kept a 9:50 pace so I'm happy with that.  My body seems to be doing much better in the heat also, considering it was 100 degrees out and I survived!
