Met up w/ Buff & Jana. All the other Sole Sisters were out of town or recovering from Deseret News Marathon. I was struggling today, my body just DID NOT want to run! I barely got in 6. I guess I should pat myself on the back just for getting up at 5am on a Sat. and running. According to the marathon training plan I'm using I should have done at least 12 today. Oh well. I figure I better listen to my body a bit. I thought if I pushed it too hard today then the rest of my running would suffer this next week. I got in 5 workouts this week consisting of 4 runs and 1 pilates class. That's not too shabby. Goals for next week: Gold- over 30 miles. Silver- 25 miles. No bronze 'cause I want at least 25 miles! |
