Met up w/ Buff & Jana.  All the other Sole Sisters were out of town or recovering from Deseret News Marathon.  I was struggling today, my body just DID NOT want to run! I barely got in 6.  I guess I should pat myself on the back just for getting up at 5am on a Sat. and running. According to the marathon training plan I'm using I should have done at least 12 today.  Oh well.  I figure I better listen to my body a bit.  I thought if I pushed it too hard today then the rest of my running would suffer this next week.  I got in 5 workouts this week consisting of 4 runs and 1 pilates class.  That's not too shabby.  Goals for next week: Gold- over 30 miles. Silver- 25 miles.  No bronze 'cause I want at least 25 miles!

Good job on getting out there today. You're smart to listen to your body and take it easy when you're struggling.

Great job getting out - you have had a good week! You were smart to listen to your body, no more injuries!

Hey! Sounds like your doing great! I'm still not out running but I intend to start something this week and see how it goes!

How's it going? I totally relate about the body not wanting to run. Possibly you are overtrained a little bit because of the increase in stress and everything with your new job? I think that is part of what is getting me. There are a lot more demands on my time these days now that I am spending a lot of time homeschooling everyday. I hate HAVING to do so much every single day. But the truth is, I keep up better with it all when I run. Ergo I run. Anyway, great job getting out and hope you are having a good week. Are you excited about Breaking Dawn?
