Ran at Liberty Park today. Did a lap around then did a mile and hit 5:45. I was going to do 2 but after the first my lungs were burning and it was hard to breathe. It’s probably too dry and cold outside for anything fast but I wanted to warm up and feel a pace again before next week. We’ll be doing the 6 minute test a week from tomorrow and I’m kind of nervous because 1) I’ve never done it before and 2) it’s been a bit since I’ve done anything fast. But I hit 5:45 in the freezing cold without going all out so hopefully the 6 minute test won’t be too bad... I might do some pickups later this week on the treadmill or something of the like.
