QUALIFIED FOR REGIONALS! Wooo! I'm so excited! Before the race, I was pretty nervous and didn't really know what to aim for, but it went really well and I think that next time I can go even faster. Mostly, I just concentrated on having a good approach and good form over all the barriers and the water jump and the race went by really quickly. I really liked it! A couple of the barriers I got a little lazy and caught my trail leg and lost my balance a bit, but for the most part it was awesome. And I got second place, which was pretty cool too. Way to go! I ran the steeple in college and learned over time that it's all about a good approach and good form, just as you said. Impressive time and once again, great job!

Good job Ruth! Just don't hit your lead leg on the barrier!

Killer time! And second place is always good too. Congrats on your steeple debut. Most people are humbled in steeple before they have success, but you got to skip that part.

Yeah, that is pretty cool. Great job!

Nice job Ruth. I could use some more of those good sweet rolls.

Nice race. I've always wanted to do the steeple but I'm afraid I would do irreparable harm to my body.

Thanks guys!

Clyde - next time I'm down I'll have to make some and bring them around

Sean - my old coach thought I would do that too... usually I'm not very coordinated
