So x-rays... just made life more confusing. There are, apparently, two explanations for what my x-rays looked like (my tibial sesamoid is still in two pieces, and has no evidence of knitting together). First: that particular sesamoid can sometimes just be two-pieced naturally, so if that's the case, some cartilage or tendons must've been causing all the crap. Or, I broke my bone into two pieces and it just is being slow in healing, which is probable due to limited blood flow there. If it is still broken, surgeries are somewhat necessary (either pinning it or removing all or part of it). Since we'd obviously rather the first option, Tuesday (the 13th) I'm getting shoe inserts and will start partial-weight bearing! By Saturday, I should be totally weight-bearing and on Monday (the 20th) I'm going to try running! If it doesn't hurt too much, then I'll be ok to go for the rest of the season! In the pool I did 9x1:15 pushes with 3:00 breaks. 'Twas great...
