Tough workout today. Warmed up and all, then started off with two 1600s @ GP 5:52 w/2:00 rest which weren't too difficult - 5:50 and 5:51 for those. After a 5:00 break, we got to the harder part: 6x400s @ GP 70-76 w/4:00 rest. Started off conservative on my times, but got down to the fastest times pretty well later - 74, 73, 72, 71, 70 and 70. Was feeling worn out by this time, even after our 10:00 break, and so the last part of the workout was tough. Two 400, 200's @ GP 72, 36 with 30 seconds between the 400 and 200, then 60 seconds between reps. Ouch. Times were pretty good, just took it a bit too easy on the first 400 - 74, 36 and 71, 35.  Tried cooling down a bit after, but I was dead. So I just ran to the Engineering building and called it quits. (DS 327.3) (S spike 40.5)

I had forgotten that you were majoring in mechanical engineering. I majored in civil and I always thought it would be amazing if someone could complete the work load required for an engineering degree and participate in a sport. It seems like you would have to skip classes sometimes for meets, and it would be easy to fall behind. But that never happened because engineers are too nerdy to be athletes. I guess you're the exception to the rule.

Haha well, yeah. I'm plenty nerdy... so no exception there.
