7 miles along the Animas River in Durango, Co. Nice and cool out. Then we went to Silverton and rode the train back. Ended the day with a nice long soak at the hot springs.

Another 7 miles along the river. It was a bit cooler out this morning but I tried to enjoy it since were heading home today where it will be really hot still.

I thought about running this morning but decided to get in some cross training instead.  Started with a pilates workout, then core, then 10 minutes jump rope, and finished with some lower body weights.

I lost a few pounds over the long weekend in Durango. I guess it was good for my body to be moving more than normal with all the hiking we did.

After a 1 mile warm up, 8x800m averged 3:24, with 400m recover slow jog for a total of 7 miles.  My legs felt better than they have in over a year.  Maybe, just maybe I can get back to running well again, if I can just stay healthy.
