I am thinking I am pushing too hard right after a half marathon? but I foolishly attempted intervals anyway. was planning 1200s on the track. ran one, then Neal showed up and I thought we were going to keep doing 1200s but he went 1600. So I did 3 1600s and then one 1200. But i had a really hard time and was totally wiped out. the strong wind didnt help. I never thought much about half marathon recovery but it probably isn't a bad idea? I may need to take tomorrow off or do the pool or something to recover

1 x 1200 4:23
3 x 1600 6:04, 6:04, 6:10
1 x 1200 4:32

decided to try a tinman tempo type workout on the slushy roads. it turned out really well, felt strong and could have kept going at that pace. One mile warmup then an out and back throught the east bench neighborhood for 6 miles tempo. never checked my watch just ran on feel. mile splits: 6:26, 6:25, 6:25, 6:37, 6:36, 6:36 for 6:31 average. one mile cooldown.
