I got as pair of hoka bondi's as a gift so took them for a two mile test spin. interesting shoe.. very cushioned, and impossible to heel strike based on the design of the foot sole. they claim they emulate barefoot running on sand or grass.... definitely very cushioned, but lacking in flexibility. I think this is a good shoe for the rotation for long runs when training for a marathon when cushioning is needed, but I am still unsure how the lack of flexibility will work with my rigid feet .

Saw you running across 7th North on either Thursday or Friday (can't remember--days are running together). I was too far away to holler at you and make a fool of myself, but I thought about it.

Burt- a fine gift indeed. the same friend gets me comps to all the SLC races. pays to have rich friends in high places!!

Joe, we should hit the track if you are interested. I want to PR at the bolder boulder so need you to push me hard. Carol Rowe is injured and Neal is doing his triathlon stuff so I am running all alone :-(
