4:30am

There was a huge windstorm last night that knocked the power out and left the roads littered with branches. The wind was still blowing hard this morning so between that and all the debris on ground, I was moving a little slower than usual. See if you can tell where the driver in an oncoming car blinded me with his high beams just seconds before I tripped over a fallen branch...

The wind died down a little and the street lights are back on so I decided to finish this morning's run.

My legs were feeling a little heavy tonight, probably from all the fast, well, faster than usual miles this week. I'll probably go easy tomorrow, then take two days off before the Turkey Trot 5k on sunday.

My legs are still feeling pretty dead. I meant to go easy this morning, but it was so cold I had to speed up a little just to keep from freezing. I decided to make it a short run instead of a slow one. I hope a couple days off will put some spring back in my step for the turkey trot.
