I ran my regular Monday route out to Payson and back, extended it up the little hill which is always fun... It was very cold out this morning but after I got warmed up it seemed to be tolerable. My foot was doing really good today until I got towards the end of the run and then it started to get sore and is a little more sore than usual right now, I hope it improves enough so I can run tomorrow. My average pace was 8:43, a little faster than I would like, heart rate average was 145 with my total time at 44:59. No shooting stars today, it was to cloudy... 10 days until Christmas, my how the year has flown. I finished the day with some upper body strength training on the Bowflex, about 20 minutes worth.

See ya tomorrow.

I ran out towards mini GU corner, but I ran the shortened version, it snowed the whole way and the roads were covered with about an inch or two of snow. I took it really slow and just tried to enjoy the scenery, listened to some good tunes and tried to ignore the pain in my foot that has now been bothering me for over two months! My average pace was 9:09 with my heart rate average at 145, total time was 45:47. I finished up with some core training and also 60 push-ups. Thats about it for today, I wish I could get this darn foot to heal up, I might have to take some time off, it has improved but it just seems to linger and never fully heal up! Day by day I guess...

See ya tomorrow.

I slept in this morning and decided to not run today, but then when I got home from work I felt really bad for being so lazy so I hopped on the elliptical for 45 minutes and then did a mile and a half on the treadmill... I did some quarter mile pick-ups with the same distance cool down in between, one of the pick-ups was at a 8:30 pace and then the last one was at a 7:30 pace,  foot felt marginal threw all of this. Total time between the two workouts was 61 minutes, I finished that up with some upper body weight training on the Bowflex... I'm pretty much wore out but I am glad that I followed through when I got home from work, I feel much better about myself for doing it.

See ya tomorrow.

I ran out to Payson via canal road this morning, I ran pretty easy the whole way. My average pace was 8:53 total time was 40:48 with my heart rate at 142, my foot felt marginal about the same as it has lately. No shooting stars again... I wonder if there is less shooting stars in the winter than the warmer months? I will have to ponder that question for the rest of the day! I finished up with my standard upper body weight training on the Bowflex. Michelle came up from behind me this morning and spooked me! I  thought maybe she just parachuted in from Paris on a dead run, I could actually see her doing that for some odd reason!

See ya tomorrow.

I slept in this morning and I didn't get out on the road until after 7:00 o'clock, I ran out towards the base of Harry's Hill and then turned and did pretty little hill I then went out towards mini GU corner and then headed back for my house... The roads were snow packed so the pace was pretty easy, my foot did pretty well until I had about a mile left and then I started to feel it! I iced it when I got home but it is a little sore as I'm writing this so we shall see how it does through the weekend... My legs felt pretty good today, they were a little tired towards the end but for the most part they performed really well, now if I could just get this darn foot to heal up, it is really holding me back right now! My total time today was 57 minutes even and my average pace was 8:45, with my heart rate at 150, a tad high I think... I think its time for a nice hot shower and then maybe we will hit Magleby's for breakfast, sounds yummy!

See ya on Monday;-)
