I ran the Payson Park Loop this morning via canal road, my legs felt like a couple of cement blocks but I was able to keep the pace pretty steady through out the run, on the way home with about a half mile left I started to have stomach issues and I barley made it home... My average pace was at 8:29 with a total time of 1:00:45, I finished up with some upper body weight training and then some push-ups. It has been a good start to the week, my stomach and abdominal region is still pretty tender so I'm not sure what is going on there. I can still run okay but it seems the longer I go the more I feel, Saturday it was pretty sore at times and then other times it seemed okay so I will have to keep an eye on it just to be sure.

See ya tomorrow.

So this was another really bad run this morning! My legs were so dead that it was just a struggle the whole run, I looked back to when it happened last week and I think I know why... Yesterday I was so busy at work that I skipped lunch and then ate a light dinner and nothing else, I'm not fueling up properly after my runs. I have to eat at least lunch and breakfast it will do me no good if I don't. Note to self, EAT! I ran out past Mini GU and then back to the house all via canal road, my average pace was way way slow at 9:30 with a total time of 1:07:58, like I said way slow! I finished up with my lower body weight training, that felt better than running. I was suppose to run Payson Canyon today with the boys but it was good thing that I didn't cuz I would have crashed and burned big time.

See ya tomorrow.

I ran the old blue mailbox route this morning, it was a little warm out there this morning, I ran a 2 mile warm up and then I did 6 quarter mile pick-ups. I felt okay but not great, I wasn't very smooth at all, very choppy, but I was able to get it done. The pace was between 7:30 and 7:40 pace for each pick-up so a little slower than I would like but at least I was able to do a little speed... With about a mile and a half left to get home I ran with Pat Loss for about a mile of that and we picked up the pace to around an 8 minute mile for that bit and then I took it easy the last .50 to home. Average pace was a little better this morning at 8:24 with a total time of 1:02:52, I finished up some upper body weight training and then some push-ups.

See ya tomorrow.

I ran out past Mini Gu and half way up Power house road, I felt pretty good today for a change I had an unsettled stomach for a little bit but then it went away. On the way back I decided to see if I could beat the 8:30 guy the rest of the way home, I increased the pace a little each mile with the last mile at 8:00 pace so I'm counting that as MP. My average pace was 8:27 with a total time of 1:00:34, I finished up with my lower body weight training, just the usual. It was a good run and I'm glad I got out this morning.

See ya tomorrow.

The plan today was to run down into the river bottoms and do my 2 mile loop down in there, just like last week, and then head back to the house and tack on a few more after that. I did not feel great at all today, pace was slow and labored and the legs were pretty much dead from the get go, it was hotter today so maybe I'm not use to it but it was a tough day out there. Last weeks 16 miler was easier than this 14 miler, not good.  My average pace was 8::47 with a total time of 2:04:23, I didn't see a lot of runners out this morning, I did see Tom and Kim but that was about it.

See ya tomorrow.
