I finally feel like I am amongst the living again, after a week of pure heck! I ran out to Payson and back and my legs felt really pretty good, I did have some stomach issues, mainly I just felt hungry the whole time, weird. My average pace was 9:03 with my heart rate average at 146, total time was 46:40 not real fast but I just wanted to shake my legs out a bit and get them loosened up and use to the pounding... I still have some of my cough but it seems to be getting better.

I have decided to start a little running club for My son Ethan and my daughter Sophie, I am going to train them for the Hersey Track meet maybe I will call it the Salem Running Club, real original isn't it... I need to talk to a friend of mine how actually is starting it but I would like to help out and get something positive going to help the kids learn about running and have an avenue to improve. I don't know it if will ever get off the ground but we shall see.

See ya tomorrow.

Cold rainy and windy this morning, not a real good combination for an old man trying to get over pneumonia! I got her done though and it wasn't pretty... My average pace was 9:37, very very slow and my heart rate average was at 140 total time was 48:46. Not much else to say except I was really tired today and I just had no energy and then it seemed like I was fighting the wind the whole time, so it was a pretty hard workout to stay motivated. I'm going to go and camp out by the fireplace and warm up for a few, see ya tomorrow.

I ran out towards Payson this morning but I didn't extend up the little hill, I started to have stomach issues and so I headed for home, and lets just say I didn't make it. It was brutal! After my VPB I made my way back to the house and I was glad to be done for the day, I just wasn't feeling it, I 'm still not feeling 100% yet and it shows in my energy level, I am hoping that it will improve next week... Total time was 48:27/9:28 ave, I know very slow, but alot of that is because I forgot to turn off watch when I was enthralled with my VPB;-(

See you tomorrow.

I ran out and around Pretty Little Hill and then I extended out to GU corner, had a drink and the turned and ran the same way back. It seemed like I was fighting the wind the whole way, just when I thought it would be at my back it would change and then it would be in my face, very frustrating... I had another VPB I seem to be getting real good at those. For the most part I ran pretty easy with a few strides in there and up tempo miles nothing to really write home about... My average pace was 8:44 and total time was 1:33:12 and my average HR was 151, as you can tell but my elevated heart rate I'm still fight my infection mainly just fighting a cough and low energy levels. I ran into Pat Loss and the boys and they seemed to be running as good as usual, passed Steve King and I think he was running with Carl Hansen, both extremely fast. Well thats about it for today see you on Monday.

Later.
