I ran for a mile and then I ran down to the high school to meet the girls, I ran a mile and a half with them and tried to run with the faster girls and ended up with a sub 8 minute mile (7:55), and then after running with them I ran home. My leg felt a whole lot better than it did on saturday and I have decided that if I have to miss any runs because of the pain I will miss some of my week day runs, I need to make sure I am able to get in my long runs on saturday. My average pace was 8:24 with a total time of 54:27, after the run I did my upper body weight training and then finsihed up with some push-ups. I am really proud of the girls they are up to to 1.5 miles and they are really feeling good about it, our goal is to get them to 3 miles by the time school starts and we are right on schedule.
