AM: Today in the morning we did a speed workout. We started with a mile warm up with a mile of speed changes. Then we quickly changed shoes and got to the line. The workout was 2 200s with equal recovery 400, 600, 800, 600, 400 and 2 200s all with equal recovery. This morning I just couldn't be up at the top of the pack that I know I need to be at. I was way back there but I was still pushing as hard as I could. During them though I was still passing at least one person on every time of speed and on the last 2 200s I just gave it all out. I didn't care how tired I was, I just booked it and I was up where I was supposed to be. Then after those we did a half mile cooldown to get an even 7 miles. Here is my Garmin  Connect:

PM: This afternoon it was just a recovery run. So Vuong and I take the first part slow then we accelerate every mile. So at the first mile he was way behind me so I didn't want to wait for him so I just accelerated. But when we got to Sugarhouse park I had to go to the bathroom really bad so I went in Arbys but when I got out everyone was ahead of me so I had to work to catch back up to people. When I caught back up to Annie, Jesse, and Sam I just ran the rest with them. The workout was jog to sugarhouse park, do a lap in the park then come back. When I got home I took a 15 minute ice bath.
