Today for Cross Country practice we met at Sugarhouse Park. We started and did the cemetery loop up to 33rd. Up to about 33rd south I was doing a really good pace, like roughly 8:07-sub 8 minute pace. But then I just totally crashed, I just ran out of energy. I stopped to stretch to see if that would help but no luck. So Abigail passed me and was about 50 meters ahead of me when we were entering the cemetery. So I caught up to her about half way through the cemetery and ran the rest of the run with her. We were supposed to go 10 today but I just couldn't go that much at the moment. I just did not have the energy to go the full today. I was still going a sub nine minute pace which was my goal but still this run took it all out of me. I was wiped, I went faster on the 8 miler on the JCC trail than I did today. Hopefully tomorrow is better because today was probably one of the worst days to run if not the worst. It also felt a lot longer than 8 which was probably because I was going so slow. I need to get my speed back that I had last week because I was way better last week than I was today. I hated this run with a fiery passion. Im going on another run later tonight.

Later in the day I did my core at my house. Then I went on a run. I went over to the avenues and started on E street ran up to 11th avenue over to Virginia street and down to South Temple. My goal for this run was to just run it under and 8:20 pace because I need to start running these runs a lot faster than I have been running them previously. I so succeeded that. I ran this in 8:05 pace. I felt really good all throughout the run but when I got to 6th avenue I stopped at smiths and went to the bathroom because I knew there wasn't any bathrooms past that. Throughout the entire run I just kept picking up the pace because it felt good to run at those speeds again. When I got home I iced my legs so they aren't too sore tomorrow.
