Talking to the Goat last night and he talked me into meeting him this AM at the top of 27th to run the  Striders MALANS Peak challenge. So, met him and we did about a mile + warm up then hit it. He was gone by the first bridge, in fact I probably went to hard trying to stay up with him. Oh well...

I haven't done the climb since spring and Man I forget how tough that sucka is.. My garmin had it at total time 1:04:13 and Moving time 57:07 so I don't remember standing around for 7 minutes, but maybe my crawl was to slow to register..hahaha. Also side note here  -my Forerunner 205 measured from the 27th to the Peak and back at 4.24, Shane had borrowed one of Striders Garmins and he had it at 4.45 - so maybe time for an upgrade. Oh ya, Sorry Bryce Mt. Goat through a time of 48:10 down....

Vert on the 4.24  = 2,096

Peace.

Damn that Goat! Good on you both for getting after it. Some freaky fasties have hit that thing. I hear the best time is 45:06, but hasn't been turned in yet! 29 minutes on the up!!! Freakonature! Kinda funny 'cause almost everyone in the sub 55 time frame seem to have really similar down times, most of the difference had been in the up. Guess you can only run so fast down that mother and stay on your feet....or the trail! Nice run'en...Give yourself the real numbers though, 2200 vert, 4.4 miles.
