I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run 

Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.

Personal:

I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

AM: 5.5 miles plus some striders. Hilly around my sisters house in Larkspur, CO.

PM: 7.25 miles on the treadmill at the hotel here in Eagle, Colorado. I had a great trail run planned but was foiled by thunder storms and hurricane force winds :-(

Nice dinner and fun at the bowling alley after.

Eagle! The Back Bowl! The Ritz Carlton of bowling alleys... we used to make that trek from Vail all the time.

My favorite cross country course in the world was on the Renaissance Festival grounds in Larkspur. It went up a mountain, up a dry stream bed, had a hill so steep they had to carve foot holds and have a rope to pull yourself up... it was awesome.
