| Member Since: Nov 27, 2016 Gender: Male Goal Type: Other Running Accomplishments: I have run 12 marathons, 5 since major surgery in 2005. My fastest was Leipzig in 1992. 3 hours 11 minutes 48 seconds. The Mesa-Phx Marathon on February 25, 2017 was the fastest since my surgery at 4:26:59. Short-Term Running Goals: I want to improve on my last Marathon time. After the Phoenix Marathon that I ran February 25, 2017 I want to focus on shorter races and do a sprint tri. I did improve about 45 minutes faster on the Mesa-Phx Marathon over the last Petrified Forest Marathon and about 27 minutes faster than the last time I ran the Mesa-Phx Marathon. Long-Term Running Goals: Continue to run and work on my speed. Do shorter races and a sprint tri in the next year. Personal: I have been an educator for 32 years. | 39:06 with 9:32 ave pace. Ran first and second miles in @ 9:15 and slowed down somewhat for the 3rd and fourth miles. I didn't use my phone app. Can't wait to get my garmin. Was 80 degrees during run. I need to run earlier on my days off. |

| Biked 8 miles with Margaret. Came home and ran. GPS was off compared to what it has been saying when it has been working. I will find out next week when I get my Garmin. 39:10. With at 9:44 pace. | History deleted. I need to figure out how to put in Garmin app online. Was a fast run but I can't. Say how fast. If my memory serves me correctly, every mile was between 9:05 and 9:30. The garmin says on my circle K run that I hit each mile about 100 yards before my phone was saying I was there. |

| Started just before 8. Was going to do 8. Changed to 7 and then 5. 51:32. 10:11 pace overall. Max HR 150. Ave 134. Ran 9:34, 9:20, then was going up slightly but up and heat got to me so was 10:08, 10:42, and 11:06. Walked and ran slowly @ 2 to get home. Was 82 degrees out when i got home. | 46:07. Ave speed 15.7 mph with max at 28.7mph. Ave hr 129 with max at 161. Just over 18 min for each 5 miles. Ran afterwards. Ran 2.03 after` bike. Swam .4 later in 9:23. Was exhausted the next day and didn't get a run in on saturday because of it. Don't know why running doesn't show up when I add cycling and swimming. |
